We have been recognised for our record of providing high quality accommodation and service here at Wye View.
Visit Wales Four Star Self Catering
The Visit Wales grading scheme for self catering accommodation measures quality, consistency and facilities provided to guests in our cottages. We are visited by an assessor every second year to check that we continue to meet (and in most cases exceed) the requirements of four star self catering cottages.
Every quarter Airbnb uses our guest feedback, ratings and other metrics to determine if we are Superhosts. We have an overall rating exceeding 4.8 stars and have been Superhosts for over four years now!
The Visit Wales Walkers Welcome award recognises that we have washing, drying and other facilities to make us a great base for walkers.
The Visit Wales Cyclists Welcome award recognises that we have secure cycle storage, equipment, cleaning and other facilities to make us a great base for both road cyclists and mountain bikers.
The WordHost programme provides a gold standard in training for any business that relies on day-to-day interaction with customers. We are both WorldHost trained.
Natural Mid Wales
We’re members of Natural Mid Wales, which promotes wildlife holidays in our beautiful region. Our guests are welcome to join us on group visits, and we have committed to encouraging wildlife in our grounds here at Wye View.
Good To Go
The “We’re Good To Go” industry standard mark is a self-assessment scheme that has been designed by VisitEngland in partnership with Visit Wales as reassurance to visitors that businesses have clear processes in place and are following industry and Government COVID-19 guidance on cleanliness and social distancing. You can see our certificate as a PDF file in English and Welsh.
VisitBritain is coordinating the Safe Travels stamp issue in the UK on behalf of the World Travel & Tourism Council for businesses registered to the We’re Good To Go scheme. The WTTC stamp enables travellers to recognise destinations around the world which have adopted global standardised protocols – so they can experience ‘Safe Travels’.
