Wye

Imagine waking and looking out over a trickling stream just metres away from your front door! Wye Cottage is a comfortably furnished stone built cottage, part of a barn conversion set in the hillside of the Wye Valley.

Wye Cottage offers a large first floor bedroom with a traditional double iron bedstead and a single bed.

Downstairs, the cottage has a fully equipped kitchen area with microwave, gas hob and fan oven, washing machine and fridge with freezer compartment. A dining table seats four, and beyond a cosy lounge has a leather suite, satellite TV and a DVD player. The cottage’s WiFi network gives access to broadband internet. There is gas fired central heating throughout plus a coal-effect electric heater in the lounge area.

Outside the cottage there is a private terrace with patio furniture. Guests can also explore more than an acre of garden; a bridle path leads up the hillside and beyond.

We welcome one large or two smaller dogs in Wye; an additional cleaning fee of £15 is payable. Remember to chose this additional service when booking.

Severn

A cosy cottage with plenty of original features like oak beams and a slit window, Severn Cottage is part of a barn conversion overlooking the Cambrian Mountains in Mid Wales. It has an open plan living, dining and kitchen area on the ground floor and a bedroom on the first floor.

Severn Cottage is for the romantic-at-heart with an old fashioned bedstead and a cosy sofa in the rafters of the old barn. Look carefully and you will see the year the barn was built – 1847 – carved in the exposed roof truss.

Downstairs is open plan with kitchen, dining and lounge areas. The kitchen has a microwave, washing machine, gas hob, fan oven and a fridge with freezer compartment. Nearby a dining table seats two. The lounge has a leather sofa, coffee table, satellite TV and DVD player. The cottage’s WiFi network provides broadband internet access throughout.

The cottage has recently been renovated with new carpets and modern kitchen and shower room.

Outside there is a terraced area where you can enjoy a glass or two of wine and take in the fabulous views.

Hafren

This lovely cottage is located on the Upper Wye Valley and is a great base from which to explore the Elan Valley, Devil’s Bridge and the Hafren forest. There are views to the fields surrounding Wye View from the ground floor, and you can often spot a circling Red Kite or Buzzard through the sky-lights. Sleeps 4, perfect for a small family. Note that access to the twin bedroom is through the double bedroom.

Hafren Cottage offers open plan living on the ground floor. There is a cosy leather sofa in the lounge area, satellite TV and a Blu-ray player. Just beyond there is a well-equipped kitchen including microwave, washing machine, gas hob, oven and fridge-freezer. The dining area has a table and seats four, with room for a highchair – remember to request this when booking. The shower room has powerful shower, toilet, wash basin and heated towel rail.

At the top of the stairs is a galleried bedroom with a double bed (137cm wide, 192 cm long) equipped with a pocket sprung mattress with Swaledale wool fill and lining, on a slatted base. A door opens through to the twin bedroom where there are two standard single  beds (92cm wide, 192cm long) with memory foam mattresses on a slatted base. Plump duvets are feather and down filled.

The cottage has recently been fully redecorated with new carpets upstairs, and slate flags downstairs. Hafren has full central heating and its own WiFi access to broadband internet.

Outside there is a shared terrace with garden table and chairs, free access to over an acre of gardens, and footpaths leading up the hillside and beyond.

Elan

Elan Cottage is the largest of 4 cottages converted from an old stone barn overlooking the Wye Valley. It has an open plan living, dining and kitchen area on the ground floor and two bedrooms on the first floor.

Every room in Elan Cottage offers a spectacular view. Elan accommodates four people with two bedrooms. The double bedroom enjoys a view over the Wye Valley, and features a king sized bed (150cm wide, 200cm long) with a Silentnight Miracoil orthopaedic pocket sprung mattress on a slatted base. The other bedroom has two standard single  beds (90cm wide, 190cm long) with sprung mattresses on a divan base. The single beds can be linked to provide a super king sized bed instead (180cm wide, 190cm long). There’s room for a cot too, but remember to request this when booking.

Elan has its own independent central heating and a well-equipped kitchen including microwave, washing machine, gas hob, oven and fridge-freezer. The adjacent dining area has a table and four chairs.

The lounge has a cosy leather suite, coffee table and satellite TV with DVD player. The cottage has a modern shower room with powerful shower, toilet, wash basin and heated towel rail.
