We welcome dogs by prior agreement and subject to an additional cleaning fee. Note that dogs must be kept downstairs, off the furniture and never left alone in the cottage.

Of course, but you can’t store it inside the cottage. We have lockable cycle storage, please let us know if you are bringing bikes so that we can reserve space for you.
We adopted strict cleaning protocols and moved to a contactless arrival and departure system, which we continue to operate. We have also committed to Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol.
Yes, we are listed on Airbnb: Elan Cottage, Severn Cottage, Wye Cottage. You will have to pay Airbnb’s booking fees on top of the nightly rate. If you book direct on our website there are no booking fees.
No, because electricity and gas are included in our rates.
Our cottages are converted farm buildings built on the side of a mountain; there are steep slopes and steps between car parking and the cottages. Shower room are on the ground floor, but bedrooms are on the first floor. You can find out more by reading our access statements.
Sorry, no. We have limited space for parking and restricted access to the car parking area.
Sorry, but our grounds slope steeply and we have no shared facilities, so we don’t offer camping pitches. There are some great alternatives for camping nearby.
Yes, we can accept debit and credit cards including Visa, Mastercard and Maestro. We do not accept charge cards.
Yes, once we receive your booking request we will send you payment details: you can pay both the deposit and the balance by bank transfer. You are responsible for any overseas fees or currency conversion charges.
Because of increased banking charges we no longer accept cheques.
Usually, but please check with us when booking. We have limited space for parking, and if we are fully booked we may not be able to accommodate another car.

Yes, our cottages have broadband access using WiFi. Because of our rural location we have limited bandwidth, so you probably won’t be able to stream high definition video and upload speeds are restricted.
No, we do not have a library of DVDs, Blu-Rays, videos or CDs.
Of course, but please supervise younger children in the grounds, because there are steep slopes and a stream.
Our normal check in time is 3pm. It may be possible to check in earlier if we have had enough time to clean since the previous guests, but only by prior arrangement.
Our normal check out time is 10am. It may be possible to check out later if we don’t have to prepare the cottage for the next guests, but only by prior arrangement.
Our kitchens are fully equipped with all the pots and pans, crockery and cutlery you will need. If there is anything that you can’t find, just let us know.
You are welcome to bring a barbecue. But we ask you to use it outside, and free-standing, i.e. not on the garden furniture or grass.
Sorry, but for fire safety we ask that you don’t have any naked flames, including regular or scented candles, incense or melts inside the cottages.
Please, no smoking or vaping inside or near the cottages.
