We welcome dogs in Elan Cottage and Wye Cottage.

Do you accept cats?

Sorry, no.

Of course, but you can’t store it inside the cottage. We have lockable cycle storage, please let us know so that we can book it for you.

What are you doing about Covid-19?

We have adopted strict cleaning protocols and moved to a contactless arrival and departure system. We have signed up for the “We’re Good To Go” scheme for businesses opening up after the lockdown and we have committed to Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol.

Yes, we are listed on Airbnb: Elan Cottage, Hafren Cottage, Severn Cottage, Wye Cottage. You will have to pay Airbnb’s booking fees on top of the nightly rate. If you book direct on our website there are no booking fees.

Do I need coins for the meter?

No, electricity, gas and WiFi are included in our rates.

Our cottages are converted farm buildings built on the side of a mountain; there are steep slopes and steps between car parking and the cottages. Shower room are on the ground floor, but bedrooms are on the first floor. You can find out more by reading our access statements.

Can I bring my caravan / camper van / trailer / horsebox?

Sorry, no. We have limited space for parking and restricted access to the car parking area.

Can I camp at Wye View?

Sorry, but our grounds slope steeply and we have no shared facilities, so we don’t offer camping pitches. There are some great alternatives for camping nearby.

Do you take cards?

Yes, we can accept debit and credit cards including Visa, Mastercard and Maestro. We do not accept charge cards.

Can I pay by bank transfer / BACS?

Yes, once we receive your booking request we will send you payment details: you can pay both the deposit and the balance by bank transfer. You are responsible for any overseas fees or currency conversion charges.

Can I pay by cheque?

Yes, but we will only accept payment by cheque where the cheque is drawn from a bank based in the
United Kingdom for an amount in pounds sterling.

Is it OK if we arrive in two cars?

Usually, but please check with us when booking. We have limited space for parking, and if we are fully booked we may not be able to accommodate another car.

How do I find Wye View?

Please take a look at our location page, it has all of the information you need to find us.

Do you have WiFi?

Yes, our cottages have broadband access using WiFi. Because of our rural location we have limited bandwidth, so you probably won’t be able to stream high definition video and upload speeds are restricted.
